Creating
and operating a Bed & Breakfast has
been a lifelong dream for Cheri & Paul
Antozak. Cheri is a certified kitchen and
bath designer and her husband, Paul, is
a licensed builder. They combined their
talents to professionally design Prairieside
Suites, a luxury Bed & Breakfast.
In
1995, they purchased a lovely 1920’s
Dutch colonial house which has an amazing
2,800 square feet of space on the main floor
alone! This lavish space doubles as a home
remodeling showroom for Interiors
by Cheri, Inc., which has been in business
since 1986. Prairieside Suites opened in
April of 2002 and has been inspected and
approved by Michigan’s Lake to Lake
Bed & Breakfast Association.
Prairieside
Suites is reminiscent of touring the Parade
of Homes or browsing Better Homes &
Gardens magazine. The bedroom suites refresh
and rejuvenate guests by combining timeless
design elements, great architecture, and
some of the most innovative products available
today. Each room is beautifully decorated
and finely appointed while creating an atmosphere
of warmth, invitation, and indulgence. The
attention to detail shows in the many award-winning
rooms that have been published in brochures
and national design magazines.
All
guest suites have king-size beds with luxurious
linens and private baths. Bedrooms include
air conditioning, remote controlled ceiling
fans, entertainment centers that include
a CD player, TV/VCR with cable, and beverage
centers that include coffee makers, refrigerators,
and microwaves. Private baths include whirlpools,
robes, blow dryers, and heated towel bars.
Two suites have executive business centers
complete with a wrap-around desk, office
supplies, phone, fax, copier, and high speed
cable modem network connection. Your stay
will include all the comforts of home plus
a few surprises. And, you’ll be encouraged
to sample the life of your dreams.
During
the summer months, guests enjoy a heated
pool with a waterfall, pergola with a double
glider swing inside, and perennial gardens
with a fountain. All this is sure to make
your stay both relaxing and memorable.
Prairieside
Suites is located two minutes from I-96
expressway exit #70. It’s only two
minutes from the Rivertown Crossings shopping
mall, restaurants, movie theaters, and bike/walking
trails. And, it’s just a fifteen minute
drive to downtown Grand Rapids. |
